As we mentioned in an earlier post, our beloved Sammy the little blue heeler who was born with a hip deformity, has returned to West Star Ranch after 2 surgeries. She is now out of pain and learning to walk with her new hip configuration. She is available for adoption. She can walk and play just fine, but running is out until her muscles strengthen. Sammy still isn’t wild about cats, but she’s smart as can be and very loving. Rides well in cars too. Our thanks to Fran, pictured here, for fostering Sammy after her surgeries!
