Things are rarely quiet at West Star; construction, volunteers, animals left at the Ranch, pets being adopted at the Ranch, donations of money and goods for the thrift store, and much, much more always keep the treadmill running at top speed and we want to keep you abreast of some of the news.

Remember the abandoned Mama and kits that were left at our gate? We are very happy to announce that a Pahrump resident, of the Peaceful Paws Charitable Fund, contributed a big chunk of cash towards helping with all the medical needs of that emaciated and sickly family. They’ve come a long way since then. Thank you so much Peaceful Paws Charitable Fund!!!
