Our thrift store is what supports our no-kill animal shelter, and we need caring and reliable folks to help us out. If you have a few hours to share, please contact us at (775) 287-1436, or stop by the Ranch at 780 Manse Road on a Saturday or Sunday.

Oversized Thrift Items
Our mission to rescue animals extendswell past the Thrift Store. While we carry a variety of unique goods inside, we have a special ‘Li’l Furniture Store‘ located directly adjacent to the main shop. If you are in search of larger pieces like furniture or oversized decor, be sure to wander over to that area—you might just find your next favorite piece there.
Pet Rehoming
West Star accepts animals for surrender at its discretion. Please contact Ranch for more information.
Do you know someone who needs to rehome a pet? West Star Ranch will help. Send us a picture and description of the pet through FB. We request that all of the pet’s records (spay/neuter, shots, chip, and health) be provided at the time of surrender. We’ll also need to know if the pet is aggressive (bites, attacks other animals, etc.) and any other personality, behavioral and health information.
If the pet is not spayed or neutered, a donation towards that service is appreciated.
Our ranchers and volunteers will do everything possible to find a good home. We do reserve the right to refuse a surrender based on the criteria listed here. Thanks for keeping us in mind!
