One of the things that makes West Star special is that the Ranch is home to many animals who, for a variety of reasons, may never be adopted. Our kind and compassionate volunteers work hard to care for these animals, who are usually the victims of abuse, and accomplish little miracles with their love and patience. Here, Cooper enjoys her favorite volunteer, Alanna, and Daisy, who was left alone in an abandoned junk yard, now allows our volunteers into her pen and accepts treats! Both of these dogs will live their lives, in comfort and dignity, at West Star. And yes, we need your support — volunteer or donate. It makes a difference!
