Suffice it to say, we greatly underestimated the time, expense, and manpower needed for the new store! We have been waiting for power to be hooked up to our new line for 2 months . . . and counting. Costs overruns are taxing even our most generous supporters. And we’re trying hard not to kill the loyal volunteers, including Pete Tabet, Morgan, Sharon, Courtney, and Gregg, who have given the lions share of their many weekends to try to pull things together. We’re grateful that even as we struggle, we continue to have loyal customers shopping in our outdoor store and some wonderful families who are adopting our dogs to make their lives complete. We will let you know the minute we’re given the green light to OPEN!
